Library Sync

  • Auto Upload is niet geactiveerd, hoewel de functie geactiveerd is op een afspeellijst op een andere computer/mobiel apparaat.

    Als uw versie van rekordbox Auto Upload niet ondersteunt, wordt deze niet geactiveerd en werkt de afspeellijst op de gebruikelijke wijze.

    Update rekordbox naar versie 6.0.1 of recenter om Auto Upload te activeren.

  • I want to start Cloud Library Sync all over again, how do I do that?

    You can start over from an empty library in ver. 6, or from a library conversion in ver. 5.
    Procedure:
    1. Make sure that Cloud Library Sync is turned on on all devices that have once been synced using Cloud Library Sync.
     '- rekordbox (Mac/Windows):
    Go to [My Page] > [LIBRARY SYNC] tab > [Sync library to another device] and turn it on.
     '- rekordbox (iOS):
    Go to [Settings] > [Account Information] > [Cloud Library Sync] and turn it on.
    2. Go to [Cloud Library Sync] > [Move to local storage] for tracks uploaded by rekordbox (Mac/Windows).
    3. Delete the Collection and all playlists in rekordbox (Mac/Windows).
    4. Wait for the Collection and playlists to be deleted on all synchronized devices.
    5. The ver. 6 library is now empty. If you want to start over from the ver.5 library conversion, go to the application menu and select [File] > [Library] > [Import your library from ver.5 (or earlier)].

  • When I synced multiple devices using Cloud Library Sync, the same track showed up twice in the track list.

    You can select [Tracks stored on the computer] or [Tracks stored on other devices] in the Cloud column to remove unwanted tracks by filtering them.
    Syncing the same track on multiple devices with Cloud Library Sync after importing the same track on each device results in duplication. You can determine which device the track is from by filtering by [Tracks stored on the computer] or [Tracks stored on other devices] in the cloud column. Then you can delete the tracks you don't want.

  • Ik heb problemen om te synchroniseren met mijn Dropbox-account. Wat moet ik doen?

    Controleer of u aangemeld bij op uw Dropbox-account in de voorkeuren van rekordbox.

    Controleer vervolgens of de account waarop u zich heeft aangemeld op de Dropbox desktop-applicatie, overeenkomt met de Dropbox-account waarop u in rekordbox bent aangemeld.

  • Nummers die alleen op andere computers of mobiele apparaten bestaan, zijn opgenomen in een nummerlijst. Kan ik de nummers verbergen die niet kunnen worden afgespeeld?

  • After uploading a track via rekordbox, I can’t play the track with the iTunes/Apple Music app.

    If [Move] is selected when uploading tracks, the tracks will move from the original folder to the Dropbox folder.

    As a result, the tracks in the folder that the iTunes/Apple Music app refers to are deleted and can't be played.

    To upload a track and keep it in the folder that the iTunes/Apple Music app refers to, select [Copy]. You can switch this setting in [Preferences] > [Advanced] > [Library Sync].

    If you've already moved a track to a Dropbox folder, you can return it to the previous folder by selecting [Cloud Library Sync] > [Move to local storage] in the context menu.

  • Track titles are grayed out on my computer and I can’t play them.

    When a track title is grayed out, it means the file hasn't been transferred from your other computers/mobile devices. To play the track in rekordbox, you need to transfer it from your other computers/mobile devices in one of the following ways:

    • File transfer using Mobile Library Sync
      1. Connect rekordbox (Mac/Windows) and rekordbox (iOS) to the same Wi-Fi network.
      2. In rekordbox (iOS), tap [Settings] > [Connect to rekordbox (Mac/Win)].
      3. In rekordbox (Mac/Windows), click [SEARCH MOBILE].
      4. Select the track from a track list in rekordbox (Mac/Windows) and right-click to show the context menu. Select [Mobile Library Sync] > [Transfer to this computer].
    • Using Cloud Library Sync
      1. Open the information window and check which device contains the track with the grayed-out title.
      2. Upload the track from the device that contains it.

    rekordbox (Mac/Windows):   Select the track from a track list, right-click and select [Cloud Library Sync] > [Upload] from the context menu.

    rekordbox (iOS):  Swipe a track to the left, tap [...], and select [Upload to Cloud].

          3. Once the track has been uploaded, it will be downloaded automatically by the Dropbox desktop application installed on your computer.

  • Wat is Library Sync?

    Met Library Sync kunt u nummers voorbereiden voor DJ-optreden/afspelen met dezelfde bibliotheek op verschillende apparaten die aangemeld zijn bij dezelfde Pioneer DJ account.

    Er zijn twee soorten Library Sync: Mobile Library Sync en Cloud Library Sync.

    U kunt Mobile Library Sync gratis gebruiken. Om Cloud Library Sync te gebruiken, dient u zich te abonneren op het rekordbox Creative Plan.

    U kunt Library Sync gebruiken met rekordbox (Mac/Windows) ver. 6 en rekordbox (iOS) ver. 3.

  • Wat is Mobile Library Sync?

    Met Mobile Library Sync kunt u uw rekordbox-bibliotheek synchroniseren wanneer uw computers en mobiele apparaten verbonden zijn met hetzelfde wifinetwerk.

    Op die manier kunt u nummers naadloos voorbereiden voor DJ-optreden/afspelen. U kunt bijvoorbeeld thuis uw computer en onderweg een mobiel apparaat gebruiken.

  • Wat is Cloud Library Sync?

    U kunt Cloud Library Sync gebruiken om uw bibliotheek in de cloud te synchroniseren met de bibliotheken op uw computers en mobiele apparaten.

    U kunt bijvoorbeeld naadloos dezelfde bibliotheek gebruiken op de computer die u voor muziekproductie gebruikt en de laptop die u voor DJ-optreden/afspelen gebruikt. U kunt nummers ook voorbereiden voor DJ-optreden/afspelen met behulp van een mobiel apparaat wanneer u onderweg bent.

  • My library doesn’t sync between computers and mobile devices.

    Check if any of the following applies:
    - Devices are logged into different Pioneer DJ accounts.
    Use the same Pioneer DJ account on all your devices.
    You can check which Pioneer DJ account you're using on each device as follows:
    rekordbox (Mac/Windows): My Page
    rekordbox (iOS): [Settings] > [Account Information]

    - Cloud Library Sync is turned off.
    rekordbox (Mac/Windows): On My Page, open the [LIBRARY SYNC] tab and turn on [Sync library to another device].
    rekordbox (iOS): Open [Settings] > [Account Information] and turn on [Cloud Library Sync].

    - You're using Link Export mode.
    Libraries can't be synced when you're using Link Export mode.
    When you finish using Link Export mode, the library will resume syncing.

  • I want to switch the Dropbox account that I’m using for rekordbox. What should I do?

    You can switch your Dropbox account in:
    rekordbox (Mac/Windows): [LIBRARY SYNC] tab on My Page
    rekordbox (iOS): [Settings] > [Account Information] > [Cloud Storage Services]

    When you switch your Dropbox account, the changes will be applied to all versions of rekordbox (Mac/Windows/iOS) logged in with the same Pioneer DJ account.
    Please note that you won't be able to play tracks from the cloud storage of the previous Dropbox account because they're deleted from the local Dropbox folder.

  • Wanneer Auto Upload geactiveerd is, worden sommige nummers in sommige van mijn afspeellijsten niet geüpload naar de cloud.

    Als de nummers zich niet op de computer of het mobiele apparaat bevinden die/dat u gebruikt, worden ze niet geüpload naar de cloud.
    Upload het nummer vanaf de computer of het mobiele apparaat waar het is opgeslagen.
